Oslo Scholars Program

enabling tomorrow's human rights leaders, today

McGill University

The Oslo Scholars Program seeks to offer extraordinary undergraduate students at McGill University the opportunity to attend the Oslo Freedom Forum in early May 2012.

The McGill Oslo Scholars Program, founded by Thomas Granrud, selects two students each year to attend the Oslo Freedom Forum in Norway. Following the forum, the students are then paired with one of the speakers at the conference with whom they will be offered the opportunity to do an internship during the summer. The McGill Oslo Scholars Program cover round-trip travel costs as well as accommodation during the conference. The scholars are then expected to return back from their experience and to coordinate the program during the following year.

This year the McGill Oslo Scholars program selected Talitha Calder and Jonathan Hershon St. Jean as its inaugural scholars.
